Nicey's Eatery is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious Caribbean cuisine. Although currently only offering take-out, the experience was still exceptional. The food was absolutely fantastic, particularly the ox tail and the spicy beef patties. The ox tail was slow-cooked to perfection, with a rich and flavorful sauce that was the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The rice and beans complimented the dish perfectly. The spicy beef patties were crispy on the outside and filled with a spicy and flavorful filling, as great appitizer to start off your meal. The service was top-notch, I believe it was the owner who was on hand to answer any questions I had and make sure I was having a great experience for my first visit. He was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, which made my take-out experience even better. I was also impressed with the attention to detail and overall quality of the food and service, even in a take-out format. It was clear that the owners take great pride in their establishment. I look forward to coming here more often, especially when dine-in reopens.

Nicey’s Eatery is one of my top favourite places to eat. The authentic flavours, great selection and friendly service keeps me and the family coming back every time. Honestly everything I have tried here is so delicious. The Oxtail and Jerk chicken are my top two go to meals here. The festivals and fried plantains are the perfect accompaniment to any main course. A great selection of Caribbean drinks are offered to help wash down all that delicious food. Thank you for being on point every time!!

First time going to this establishment and I was very impressed. Excellent service. Very warm atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the saltfish and it was fantastic. I also got the patty and coco bread. The patty didn’t have enough filling but the coco bread was superb. Highly recommend it.

Special mention goes to Jobi, a standout team member whose exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills make each visit a pleasure. Her friendly demeanour and attentiveness at the cashier leave a lasting impression and truly reflect the restaurant’s commitment to service excellence. The food is delicious, flavourful and satisfying—without the after-effects of heaviness or indigestion that often follow rich meals. The washrooms are clean, the dining area is spotless, and the restaurant offers both indoor seating and an outdoor patio, perfect for enjoying the summer months. Hey everyone! Just wanted to share my honest review of Nicey’s. If you’re craving Caribbean food and that nostalgic “back home” flavour, this spot is definitely worth checking out. While my review is based on what I ordered, their full menu offers a wide variety of tasty options and add-ons to satisfy all kinds of palates. I went with the jerk chicken, paired with rice and peas, topped with oxtail gravy, and served with vegetables. I also added a side of coleslaw and a chicken patty. The entire meal was delicious, flavourful, well portioned, and the jerk chicken had just the right amount of heat for those who enjoy a good kick. As for the patty, it seriously holds its own against the greats like Patty King, Allwyn’s, and Randy’s. That says a lot if you know your patties and are picky when it comes to them! Overall, my experience was fantastic. The service was friendly, the food was amazing, and the prices were more than fair for the portion sizes. Highly recommend checking them out!

My daughter and l were bringing my grandchildren out for dinner after my grandson's graduation and she had suggested this restaurant which l had never been From the first you walk in the door we were greeted by a very nice young man that took our order with a welcoming smile then came the food good portions and smelling so good and was very delicious So as we are having our delicious meal the same young man came over and asked if we would like complimentary soup for all five of us needless to say this restaurant goes above and beyond for their customers l am already planning our next visit If you are contemplating don't hesitate 5 Stars all the way Thank you for a great experience

The foodie I am asked a colleague to take me to the best Jamaican spot in town, he took me to Nicey’s. It was so good that I brought another friend over 2 days later (we live a few kms away), enjoyed our meal on site, and purchased some more for home! Customer service is top notch we’ll be back!

Best plantain I've ever tried in my life, and I've had a lot of West Indian style plantain. It was so thick and juicy and perfectly caramelized. The oxtail was plentiful and not just bones. Rice and peas needed a lot of gravy, otherwise it was a bit dry, so be sure to ask for extra gravy. Was not a huge fan of the coleslaw, but others I was with enjoyed it. It was nice to sit on the patio and enjoy the cool summer breeze. Once the outside drums got started though, it was a bit smokey, so keep that in mind if you need to get back to work Overall it was a great experience. Friendly staff. Definitely going back with the fam.
